Nous entendons le mot \u00ab\u00a0comportement\u00a0\u00bb tous les jours dans nos \u00e9changes, rendez-vous et s\u00e9minaire avec les pr\u00e9venteurs et les CODIR.\u00a0Il est aussi tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9sent dans les communications pr\u00e9vention aux salari\u00e9s (politiques, discours, analyse d\u2019accidents\u2026).<\/p>\n<\/div>

Pourquoi devrions-nous arr\u00eater de l\u2019utiliser aupr\u00e8s des salari\u00e9s ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dans la m\u00e9moire individuelle de chaque collaborateur, le mot \u00ab\u00a0comportement\u00a0\u00bb a une r\u00e9sonance toute particuli\u00e8re<\/strong>. Il lui vient en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral\u00a0des souvenirs:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0soit de l\u2019\u00e9cole\u00a0;<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0soit de l\u2019environnement familial.<\/p>\n

Et dans ces deux contextes, le mot \u00ab\u00a0comportement\u00a0\u00bb n\u2019avait, en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, pas une connotation positive.\u00a0On se rappelle souvent du \u00ab\u00a0probl\u00e8me de comportement\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> ou du \u00ab\u00a0mauvais comportement\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> ou du \u00ab\u00a0attention \u00e0 ton comportement ! \u00bb<\/strong>. Ce mot est donc associ\u00e9 \u00e0 des reproches et \u00e0 des probl\u00e8mes.<\/p>\n

Alors, quand, des ann\u00e9es plus tard, dans le monde professionnel, le collaborateur entend \u00e0 nouveau le mot \u00ab\u00a0comportement\u00a0\u00bb associ\u00e9 \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, il l\u2019entend avec ce bagage de souvenirs n\u00e9gatifs<\/strong>. Il le vit comme une nouvelle \u00ab\u00a0agression\u00a0\u00bb. Et une agression ne peut\u00a0provoquer que du d\u00e9sint\u00e9ressement ou du rejet.<\/p>\n

Ces deux r\u00e9f\u00e9rences (famille et \u00e9cole) font,\u00a0en plus, appel \u00e0 des souvenirs de l\u2019enfance o\u00f9 l\u2019\u00e9metteur de l\u2019information \u00e9tait l’adulte et le r\u00e9cepteur \u00e9tait l\u2019enfant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Quand le collaborateur se retrouve dans le monde professionnel \u00e0 entendre \u00e0 nouveau ce terme de \u00ab\u00a0comportement\u00a0\u00bb, cela le replace donc dans une posture d\u2019inf\u00e9riorit\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ce mot n’est pour autant pas forc\u00e9ment facile \u00e0 remplacer mais nous vous proposons d’utiliser plut\u00f4t la notion de “facteur humain”, de parler des “pratiques” ou des “fa\u00e7ons de faire”, ce qui sera toujours plus factuel.<\/p>\n
