Nous entendons beaucoup parler du \u00ab\u00a0comportement\u00a0\u00bb comme une origine majeure des accidents du travail.<\/p>\n

Alors, pourquoi vous \u00e9veiller avec ce titre qui peut vous surprendre\u00a0?<\/p>\n

Si je demande \u00e0 un pr\u00e9venteur ou \u00e0 un manager\u00a0:<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est quoi, pour vous, un accident de comportement\u00a0?\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

Dans la r\u00e9ponse, on me parle toujours des probl\u00e9matiques de choix de la personne. L\u2019individu a arbitr\u00e9 et, \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0, face \u00e0 cette situation donn\u00e9e, a fait tel ou tel choix qui a g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 un accident. Des choix dans une mauvaise direction alors qu\u2019il ou elle aurait pu faire des choix \u00e9vitant l\u2019accident.<\/p>\n

Ce contexte est donc un accident de comportement.<\/p>\n

L\u2019accident de comportement a tendance \u00e0 recentrer la probl\u00e9matique sur l\u2019individu.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Mais il aurait pu faire autrement\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Et pourtant, les comportementalistes nous montrent bien, avec toutes sortes d\u2019exp\u00e9rimentations mesur\u00e9es, que si nous avions \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 la place de ce salari\u00e9 et dans les m\u00eames conditions que lui, la grande majorit\u00e9 d\u2019entre nous aurait agit de la m\u00eame fa\u00e7on.<\/p>\n

Robert-Vincent Joule, un des plus grands chercheurs contemporains sur ce sujet, nous prouve\u00a0que :<\/p>\n

Le comportement ne tient pas \u00e0 la personnalit\u00e9, \u00e0 des convictions ou \u00e0 une conception personnelle mais \u00e0 des circonstances.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Le comportement des salari\u00e9s est guid\u00e9 par des circonstances, par le contexte.<\/p>\n

Prenez un salari\u00e9 qui a un comportement consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme d\u00e9viant dans une entreprise A. Ce salari\u00e9 change de soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Il change de manager, d\u2019environnement. Sa nouvelle entreprise a une culture s\u00e9curit\u00e9 bien plus d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e. Et l\u00e0, miracle\u00a0! En deux ou trois semaines, parfois moins, ce salari\u00e9 int\u00e8gre les bonnes pratiques en s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Il a un \u00ab\u00a0bon comportement\u00a0\u00bb en pr\u00e9vention. Le m\u00eame salari\u00e9 s\u2019est fondu dans cette culture.<\/p>\n

Le sens de cet article est de remettre l\u2019accent sur le fait qu\u2019un accident dit \u00ab\u00a0de comportement\u00a0\u00bb est un signal du niveau de culture pr\u00e9vention de l\u2019entreprise, de l\u2019unit\u00e9 du service.<\/p>\n

Il n\u2019est pas forc\u00e9ment li\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019individu. Les kamikazes existent mais il n\u2019y en a pas tant que cela. Dans la plupart des cas, nous aurions eu le m\u00eame comportement que ce salari\u00e9 si nous avions \u00e9t\u00e9 dans ces conditions.<\/p>\n

Alors, il est essentiel de concentrer ses efforts sur l\u2019implication de l\u2019ensemble de la ligne manag\u00e9riale en pr\u00e9vention afin de placer tous les collaborateurs dans un environnement o\u00f9 ils seront \u00ab\u00a0port\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb v\u00e9ritablement par un haut niveau de culture s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n
